In Luke 24, women came to the tomb to prepare Jesus body, but He was not there. Angels reminded them thatJesus was to rise on the 3rd day. When the women told the disciples, they did not believe them. Instead the travelled to Emmaus, but Jesus, Himself came to preach Himself in the scriptures to them. In verse 17, it says they were sad. Luke 19:28-44 describes Christs entry into Jerusalem as the Messiah and How Jesus does and uses things we wouldn’t expect, like an unbroken donkey which would have been impossible to ride. In the book of Esther, Esther held a banquet for Hammond and the King. Hammond was responsible for setting up the order to have God’s people killed and for building gallows to hang Mordecai (Esther’s uncle who was mourning at the gate, but had been a loyal servant of the king).
