Project: Help

Project: Help

Do you know someone
who needs help?

Here’s what you can do:

Contact Charlie Perrine, the ministry leader, and coordinator, and provide the phone number for those in need. Charlie will reach out to them.
Charlie can be reached at 321-613-2608.

Ministry Statement:

Helping our church family with “specific” (i.e., within our ability to do the work safely) projects around their homes, giving praise and glory to our heavenly father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Goals:

Gather a group of Club Zion women and men, willing to help Club Zion Sisters and Brothers do chores around their homes. Ideally, the more volunteers we have we can do jobs quicker. Several smaller jobs we can do in smaller teams. No one will work more than once a month unless they want to. It would be great to have a minimum of 75 people sign up.

Types of Jobs

  • Painting
  • Cleaning inside homes
  • Lawn maintenance, trimming shrubs
  • Shopping for food
  • Straightening stuff in garages
  • Clean, wax car
  • Metal removal – old BBQ grills
  • Getting your home ready for a hurricane
  • Pressure washing
  • Companionship visit
  • Tutoring
  • Donations (i.e., furniture)

Examples:

Our faith must express itself in helping others.

What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?

James 2:14

Works of loving service are not a substitute for, but rather a verification of, our faith in Jesus.

Jesus is more concerned with our walk than our talk.

What we do cannot be separated from what we believe.

Praise the Lord!

And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Colossians 3:17
