“I’m a New Creation” – Ephesians 2:10-22 (Tuesday 3/21/21)

This sermon is a continuation of the Ephesians Bible Study Teaching and describes who we are in Christ.

Jesus has made the uncircumcised (gentile believers) circumcised through Christ who has cut away our sinful flesh (Ephesians 2:11, Colossians 2:11)  Jesus has broken down that wall that separates us from God and from the Jews and has given us peace and is our peace (John 14:27, Isaiah 9:6, Luke 2:14, Romans 5:1, Philippians 4:6-7, Isaiah 26:3-4) This means that we do not have to hide from God.  If we are confused and need direction or if we have sinned, we can boldly turn to the Father because Jesus has made peace for us.  Our heavenly Father is more gracious loving and forgiving than an earthly father could be.  He will give peace and let you keep it.  We can leave the peace but we can always come back to peace.
