In Chapter 5 of Ephesians the emphasis is on being an imitator of Christ.  To do this we must be willing to submit to Christ for the sake of His purpose. We are not to walk with the world but in thankfulness.  We are to expose the darkness by the light which is the truth (God’s Word).

“Triumphant Entry” – Luke 19:28-44 (Sunday 3/28/21)

Luke 19:28-44 describes Christs entry into Jerusalem as the Messiah and How Jesus does and uses things we wouldn’t expect, like an unbroken donkey which would have been impossible to ride.  Jesus was prepared and is prepared for every situation in your life.  The Pharisees however in verse 39 wanted Jesus to rebuke the disciples for worshipping Him, but Jesus said even the stones would cry out if they kept silent.  Finally in verse 44 Jesus warns that because they…

“Walk in Unity” – Ephesians 4 (Tuesday 3/23/21)

To walk worthy of your calling means to walk with unity in mind with lowliness, gentleness and long suffering. We are like a brick in the building that houses God.  Not one brick is better than the other and all have a certain location. The Holy Spirit gives each Christian the gift needed for the particular place they are to fill in God’s building.

In the book of Esther, Esther held a banquet for Hammond and the King.  Hammond was responsible for setting up the order to have God’s people killed and for building gallows to hang Mordecai (Esther’s uncle who was mourning at the gate, but had been a loyal servant of the king).  In God’s mighty sovereignty, Mordecai was hung on those very gallows.  God is always faithful even when all the circumstances are against you.  God has a plan.  God’s plan…
