“Imitator of Christ” – Ephesians 5:1-23 (Tuesday 3/30/21)

In Chapter 5 of Ephesians the emphasis is on being an imitator of Christ.  To do this we must be willing to submit to Christ for the sake of His purpose. We are not to walk with the world but in thankfulness.  We are to expose the darkness by the light which is the truth (God’s Word).

“Walk in Unity” – Ephesians 4 (Tuesday 3/23/21)

To walk worthy of your calling means to walk with unity in mind with lowliness, gentleness and long suffering. We are like a brick in the building that houses God.  Not one brick is better than the other and all have a certain location. The Holy Spirit gives each Christian the gift needed for the particular place they are to fill in God’s building.

“Riches in Christ” – Ephesians 1 (Tuesday 3/2/21)

This chapter shows us what we have with our salvation such as every spiritual blessing (v3), chosen by God before the foundation of the world, holy and without blame (v4), predestined (v5), accepted (v6), bought back (v 7), inheritance (v11), sealed with the Holy Spirit into eternal security (v13), spirit of wisdom (v 17), riches of His glory (v18) to name a few. “ABCs of the Faith” – Hebrews 6, Part 1 (Tuesday 10/13/20)

Hebrews 6:1-3 is reminding the Jewish followers to move past the ABC’s of the Faith. The Jews wanted to remain in Judaism which was like a picture of Christ. The Jews wanted to stay with the picture (the Jewish faith) instead of grasping the actual real relationship with Christ.
