In Acts 4, When Paul and Peter were preaching to the people that the lame man was healed by the Lord Jesus, they were told by the Sadducees and priests not to speak in the name of Jesus anymore. In Acts 4:12, they proclaimed “nor is there salvation in any other name, for there is no other name under heaven among men by which we must be saved. After being threatened, Peter and John replied in verses 18-19 that they could not honor man over God, and they could not but speak about what they had seen and heard. Finally in verse 31, after they prayed, the place was shaken and filled with the Holy Spirit.
We too must stand for Christ and not be ashamed of the name of Jesus.
